Moonstone

Geological Aspects
Mineralogy: Moonstone is a mixed sodium and potassium aluminosilicate, belonging to the orthoclase or plagioclase feldspar groups.
Adularescence: The signature adularescence is a result of the internal layering of orthoclase and albite feldspar, which causes light to scatter and create a flowing glow.
Color: Common colors include white, colorless, gray, peach, pink, and yellow, but it can also appear in green and brown hues.
